Deal Or No Deal is out to help make someChristmas wishes come true. In a special two-hour Christmas episode, a California family and an Oregon war hero have a chance at a million dollar Christmas.
First to have a chance at a million dollars is a family from Long Beach, California. James Calhoun, who is father to thirteen kids, will start the game, and he will rotate rounds with his daughter Gina and son Joshua. If James wins big money, then he plans to give his family an extravagant Christmas, which is something they’ve never had before.
Second to have a chance at a million dollars is Silver Star and Purple Heart recipient Matt Zedwick, who is from Corrallis, Oregon. Matt was recently married, and he hopes to win enough money to buy a house for his himself and his new bride.
To make things even more interesting, The Banker will hold a side game for the contestants worth an extra $25,000. The side game challenge is for the contestants to eliminate the nine lowest prize amounts with reindeer names hidden in the cases before they take a deal.
In the spirit of the holidays, the studio audience will also receive a bundle of presents. Deal Or No Dealairs on Thursday, December 25 from 8 PM to 10 PM ET on NBC.
